A disposable cotton mask designed to stimulate skin renewal by accelerating the removal of dead cells that have accumulated on the surface of the skin. Contained a total of 10% acids with a relatively mild effect on the skin and may be tolerated better during longer skin application. � Unlike common AHA peeling fluids, where an acid-soaked pad is wiped across the skin and repeated several times depending on the patient�s skin tolerance, the CODDLES acid-soaked cotton mask is designed to remain uninterrupted on the skin for several minutes! It delivers excellent results with even relatively low acid concentrations, while avoiding excessive skin irritation. � The acid composition of the mask includes 7% PHA, 2% Mandelic Acid, and 1% Malic Acid. � PHA (Poly Hydroxy Acid) � Gluconolactone is made up of relatively large molecules compared to AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) and even more so compared to BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acids) such as Salicylic Acid. As a result, it penetrates the skin less deeply and causes less irritation. � Achieving maximum results with mild acid concentrations, requires effective hydration of the stratum corneum (epidermis). This is achieved through a wealth of polysaccharides in the formula, which create a softening gel based on osmosis. Two premium moisturizers: Urea and Sodium PCA further enhance the skin�s hydration. (1) Soak a Coddles mask in water and squeeze the excess. (2) Pour 2 tablespoons (Ca. 18 ml.) into a shallow bowl. (3) Straighten out the mask aligning it properly to fit the mouth and the eyes. (4) Use a flat brush to carefully apply the gel onto the mask keeping away from the eyes! (5) In case there is a discomfort or tingling sensation resulting from the mask application after less than 5 minutes, remove the mask and rinse off the residue with water.
